Meet Coach Silva

Forty years of experience.

Rooted in a rich Brazilian soccer heritage, Coach Joilson Silva brings over 40 years of coaching and teaching expertise. He specializes in refining players' individual technique and advanced dribbling skills.

  • Elite Academy Experience: 16 years coaching with the prestigious Vogelsinger Soccer Academy (1990–2006).

  • Club & Select Leadership: 18 years coaching with Lonestar Soccer Club (2000–2018) and former Training Director for Chattanooga Football Club (2019).

  • Community & School Athletics: Served a decade as Teacher, Coach, and Assistant Athletic Director at St. Gabriel Catholic School.

  • Current Local Impact: Serving as a Board Member and the Director of Coaching (DOC) for the Collegedale Soccer League.

  • Foundational Expertise: Graduated P.E. Teacher since 1984, blending athletic excellence with a deep understanding of youth physical development.
